cr ignition help please :)

ok so i got this 02 cr ignition and i called ESR today and talk with them about it, they said that i couldnt use their adaptor plate with this because it doenst mount up right or something like that.
there is no TPS sensor in this harness also

so does any one have a CR adaptor plate that they could take off and tell me how far the holes are apart for on the CR, i have a extra TRX that i could use.

If i cant use the ESR plate im going to be making one...

I thought the Cr ignition you wanted to use was a 2001? Does it matter what year you use?

you can not use the 02 cr ignition because the flywheel keyway/timing tab are not in the correct position.

Just like you can not use a cr125 flywheel/stator

that is why you always see people say to buy the 99-01 cr250 ignitons. 02 are cheap because only 02+ cr250 guys can use them

I agree 100%...........thats why a '01 is around $300 on ebay and the '02 is around $75. I think if you just try to "make" a plate, the timing is going to be off. The ESR one is set so the timing is around (I think) 6*.

You play around too much and get the timing off, you can toast your motor.

WTF people were saying that you can use it! why would they change the timing on them!?!? im making it work. i'll make my own plate.
