Xbox won't read any games?

Whenever I try to play Xbox 360 I put a game in the tray, then it says that it is reading the game, then it just says open tray. I've tried with a bunch of different games and I don't know why it is doing this. It never says "disk read error" or anything like that. It's like the games arn't even being reconized by my Xbox, and none of the games are scratched or broken. Anyone have any ideas on what do do with this?

the pickup is done, theyre a pain in the *** to change. I'd sell it on ebay or something and save up a little and buy the new one.

Mine does the same thing sometimes. But after opening and closing the tray like 3 or 4 times it usually works. My buddy told me to put the game in backwards and close the tray then flip it back around. I have no clue why but it's worked evrytime! lol
