I've ridden quads for a long time now and have decided to make an effort to jump into the racing scene finally. I'm pricing out options and shopping for bikes now and wondering if anyone with experience in the Racer Support program knows if someone with NO racing background except for some pit crew seasons on buddies bikes would be able to get into the support program?

If anyone has tried let me know

I tried, and they accepted and i never raced before I bought the quad.

You will get in. Make sure you research your dealership... Some of them tend to suck, others are awesome.

I'm still debating new/used so keep me in mind when your season is over.

No doubt, when I make my plans and decide if I will be selling I will let you know, Also Marks Motorsports in Enfield CT is the dealership I go to, They are awesome. Always helpful and know the racer program inside and out. If you decide to get a new one, make sure you check them out.

Sounds good, do you have to sign up for the racer program through the dealership you buy the quad at? I assume yes? I've found a couple places with some leftover '09's that I'm working on right now. The prices will probably come back a little too steep but we'll see.

Great topic!
I have a question I bought my ds450 a year ago, could i still get accepted in the racer program. Even if I just "race" around a few local tracks.
Do they actually check to see if your entering races, or can I just say that I am??

Yes, apply at the dealership you plan on buying from. Last I checked Marks still had a 09 or two.

I'm not sure, but I don't think you can sign up if you bought the quad before. You never know, they may have changed it. It won't hurt to just ask the dealership.

Question -

If you buy a used stock bike can you somehow get into the racer support program and get the motoworks stage 1 etc as a benefit, or does this apply only to Dealership sales?

i read that it has to be new or unused.

so what all do you get with this program i know you get the stage 1. then do you get money off the bike? and then $1000 for parts and clothing? and then 75% discount on parts
