Well, we traded an old air conditioner and compressor for an 84 Honda atc200s and a nitro RC car.

Well the Honda's pretty cool. Has some snot for a 200! We already drilled a new bolt pattern in some stock 400ex aluminum rear rims, and put them on. Made it decently wider and I have some new 22" dunlop warrior tires to go on it.

The thing's cosmetically challenged, but runs great.

The reason for this thread is, we're making a resto-mod out of it.

Basically I am chopping off the factory sub frame, and taking the swingarm assembly off of a 250x/200x/300ex/blaster/something along those lines. Going to weld up tabs for the swingarm, support the upper part of the subframe that we're leaving, and weld up a shock mount.

Then we're going to adapt 200x/250x/ or 250R front forks to it.

Might take a little while, but should be a fun project. Should be a nice riding/handling trail trike when it's all done.

Of course after the mounts and everything are done, the frame is getting sanded/painted/etc.

Ill have some pics of it as it sits soon.

you prob gonna wanna go with the 200x or 250sx forks, the 250r with be really wide in diameter and probly to long, i think 200x forks will be the best

we have an 86 250r restoed all decked out

an 85 250x thats been restoed

and 2 200x rollers

We're gonna try. It seems as if the fork assemblies are cheap enough! This thing has front suspension but it's pathetic.

These little honda three-wheelers are a trip. I would love to try riding one of the 250R ones.

Definitely do. Those old death machines fascinate me haha. I can see them being so fast because of how light they are.

ok so here the 86 250r, a couple key thing to notice are the CUSTOM triple trees machined out billet alum. and inverted dirtbike forks, and then the 100% polished engine, this is my dads baby, he puts a ton of time and money in it

and this is the 85 350x, its nice but not as nice as the R, but i like it better, it suits me better, but notice how the 350x is similar to a 400ex, with the dual head pipe

Those are beautiful ATC's! The 350X's are no joke, those things can RUN. You should throw some inverted forks on that beast.

Both are very clean, I like them.

but you should join
3wheeler.org
3wheelerworldforums.com

to be honest with you, there really not that unstable once you know how to ride them, i have been riding them sense i was 8 b myself and i rode them with my dad sense i was a little boy

so i consider my self an above average rider, but if its your first trike, then yes it will feel VERY unstable. you you will get the hang
