The whole bike is that clean, or it was haha. It was near mint when I bought it but I really ride it unlike the old owners haha.

i just got some 450r shocks also, im wondering if you knocked the welded nut off or did you grind the shock housing to make them fit?

I grinded the shock housing, I didn't want to grind down the frame as I feared it could cause rust and or structural issues.

The 400 is looking good man. How do you like that stabilizer? Have you ridden with it very much yet?

Your 350X is looks way clean, makes me miss my 200X...

I know where my 84 R is and it's a frequent thought in my head to go buy it back. What makes it the worst is I know she's just stuck in a dirty garage with crap all over her and hasn't been started in 3 years.

son of uh.... why would you sell that X, its only gonna be worth more with age

but i would be riding it everyday, instead of letting it sit in a showroom, its made to ride, not to hide

I sold it because I wasn't using it, it was just sitting around collecting dust. 350x's are out there and I want one I can completely rebuild from the frame up.

You're going to love the combo of the 450r shocks and that stabilizer (if you're not already). Some +1 arms would really make it ride nice.

My dad's '85 350X still amazes me. He bought it off the showroom floor in '85 (didn't even have fluids in it) and to this day it runs like a raped ape. Never been rebuilt or anything. I can't imagine what the ring gap is on it haha.

There is no better trail ATC then the 350x, it is a beast and I love the way they ride which is why I'll be getting another one soon. Out here in CA the mint 350X's and 250R's are everywhere and usually MUCH cheaper then the east coast.
