Hey guys, I am new to quads but am in the market for a Blaster pretty much for towing a few jet ski trailers down to the lake and for a little bit of playing in the dirt. No plans to race or anything hardcore. It seems the Blaster can take a trailer hitch and is smaller to fit in a storage unit I have in the backyard as the 4x4 monsters are just too big for my needs. Do you think this is the quad for me??? I have owned a few dirt bikes, boats and jet ski's but never a quad.
I found a 04 for sale, the guy says it ran fine, new back tires and all but he has not ran it in a year and it wont start now. I have not looked at it yet but pretty much think its the carb. If that is all that needs rebuilding, do you think $900 for what he is asking is a good deal?? I Want to do a compression test too and make sure the engine is solid. What psi whould I be looking for??
