i'm wanting to trade my remington 870 for a new glock 30 .45acp or a used remington 700 sps 20in .308 if i go to some gun shops around here would you thing they would go for it? or just any individual wanting to trade? just bought it about 9 months ago put vang comp sights on it $450 mesa tactical side saddel $75 houge rubber forend $35 and speedfeed leo shorten length of pull pistol grip but stock on $100 plus the gun cost $480 yah i got riped off. so i add it up and figure in wear and tear which there is none and say maby $700- $800ish? would that be a fair trade?

they may give you $600 max towards a trade in....they really try and rip you off on things like nice after market sites and scopes...

if you find a dealer thats willing and could sell that you may be able to trade them for a model 30 staight up....dealer cost for those is $532.00 with night sights....$481.00 with fixed sights.

..you could also probably trade that straight up for the model 700, but i would not get a 308 in a 20" barrel....the short barrel will not benefit you at all muzzle whip or resonance, because a proper hand load can correct that...however..that barrel, even with a heavy barrel, may not produce enough pressure to keep the bullet velocities high enough, which would cost you accuracy at extremely long distances.
