300EX Rear Shock Fitment ?

I have a line on a used Works rear shock off Raptor .
I know from reading on here stock Raptor rear will go on 300ex.
I also know it has to remote rezzy.
Anyone put a Raptor Works Ultracross (dual rate ultracross rear shock, fully adjustable compression, rebound, ride height and preload adjustable) on 300ex ?

i would be interrested in a rapturd back shock to put on my 300ex if i knew what i had to do to make it fit. if any one knows plz tell me.

okay i figured out that it will fit on if its a 2001? is that shock u "have a kine to" a 2001? if so i want it!

do a search and u can find a lot on using a raptor shock on the 300... is that worls rappy shock any longer? if it is the same length and everything u can use it as long as it isnt a piggyback, the piggyback versions wont fit a 300... and if u buy that shock i highly recomend getting it revalved for what u are using it for... works would prolly kno what to do they do all the 300 to 400 front end swap shocks and stuff.... or send it to the quadshop they did a great job on my rear works rebuild....

i payed 240 i believe for the rebuild a new line and rezzie... not posotive but that was when they sponsered us... i dont kno how much it would be now

it is the same length an it bolts right up. i used a 400ex spring on mine, the works idea sounds like a good one.

btw- it's not that a 02 shock will not fit, its just no one has tried it yet. i looked at an 02 crapturd yesterday and there might be enough room on a 300 for it to work

i believe the quadshop said they tried it or someone did i remember just to see and it was a failure...
