Anybody here know much about Vinyl Grapics?

Hi...Does anybody here know much about how to make Line Art or Vector images that will eventually be cut into vinyl graphics?

I want to have some flames made up for the sides of my EX. The guy who is doing them said to use Adobe Illustrator to make them and then send them to him. He said that had to be a vector image converted to line art or something like that. Anyway, my artistic abilities are very slim, and combine that with not ever using the program before and you have nothing.

When I talked to him he said the software he uses came with his plotter so he doesn't use Illustrator and can't really give me many tips on it.

I found some software like you see at this website www.ezflames.com , but it's pretty expensive for me to by just to use on a one time thing. That software has some pre-made flames that you can manipulate a little bit to fit what you are making...I'm looking for something like that.

Anybody have any ideas, or know of any free vector art sites or anything?

Just thought I'd ask here before spending the cash.

I make all my image on corel and than save them as a EPS file or AI file. All my vinal comes out perfect.

if u get good at that stuff send me a pm id like to have some graphics made for my 400

can be converted to black and white for a one color vinyl sticker. Color looks better though
