Which (front shocks or rear shock) do you think made the most improvement on the 250EX?

The reason I'm asking is that we have a 250EX with the same setup (spacers and axle) on stock shocks. The rear shock feels awful while the fronts only feel bad. I have other toys that are currently consuming too much money and would only like to buy one or the other for now.

brokeitin3, ahhh, I am drooling now! That looks so badazz. I wish I had some more $$. Question, did you install the axle yourself and how difficult was it. It is the Durablue +2 one right? Oh and how much did the shock package cost? Ok, maybe just the fronts? That quad is awesome, thanks for the pics!:D

cost right at $1200.00 and yes I have done all the work myself. I plan on installing the new graphics & seatcover this weekend.

you got a nice 250ex there. my little cousin has one of those and they are nice little bikes. if i was u i would do like rico said, cut the silicer a few inches. i think it would look tight if you cut it an inch or two before the second frame mount. then it would look custom and would probaly sound good

i was thinkin bout gettin works for my 250 is it worth it or not and what rate should i get and should i get it with rezzies or with out. does it add anymore inches of travel to it?
thanks

yes rezzies are great cause it controls ur shock properties like nitrogen and oil. The rezzy keeps both seperated unlike stock shocks. When u ride hard or jump for more than 5mintues u will notice shock fading shock fading is caused by the nitrogen and shock oil mixing together.................;) hope that helped crzy250exrider :p and triple rates just provide a steady level of dampening like 1st spring is for bumps 2nd is for wheelie landings and the 3rd is for full blown jumps and they all work together to create a plush ride go wit the best shock u can with the money (all options) and stuff......................:scary:

i wouldnt say that lil 400ex man, they do not fade that quick!:p

after a good while they will sort of, but for occasional jumping, and riding you dont need them

for hardcore racing you will definetly need them, without a doubt

i am just sayin what it felt like to me......................i jumped hard like 4th gear 10 ft tall on stock shocks..........................so maybe my timing is a tad off but for racing there horrible..........................oem shocks that is.................;)
