Glamis Info?

In December my wife and I are heading to San Diego for a vacation. I want to head out to Glamis for a day. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on:

A good place to rent a Quad from?

What will I need to bring out there?

What the Temp's are like in December?

Is there a good Hotel to stay near by?

Any other info you can give would be helpful too.
