my valves were warped so i took it to my local shop to have them re do my valves. they took 26 days to do it and when i got it back it could hardly idle and was as slow as molasses i ran it for a while and it idles now but i took it out and it clocked out at 53 mph. it runs fine and sounds fine but it is very slow does anyone know why this is. do i have to break it in and everything will go back to normal or did they F up the timing or something like that.

i know you said it runs and sounds fine but i was just cerious if there was any sort of knocking or ticking sound coming from the motor.. i had a problem similar to this before i rebouild my z.. i had what seemed like no power.. i put a new cam chain in and it helped a ton!

Hmm that doesnt sound right. Is your filter clean? Make sure your choke isn't sticking and check inside of your exhaust for a mouse trying to make a nest. Is your brakes sticking? Just throwing out ideas.
