well i first joined in April of '05 with the intent of buying a 450r and ended up getting a 400ex bone stock and over the past 5 years took it to what it is today. It was time for a change so i started looking around and my local yamaha shop had this beast for sale and offered financing....so it came home with me :D its my first 450 and i love it!

Its an '04 and has 40-50 hours on it total. Was bought new from the dealer by a local guy and he dropped some money into it. He raced it 3 times and it sat in his garage. He actually had the carb cleaned twice because it just sat. The thing has hardly any boot wear on the frame and case cover. They said he just sold it back to them because somebody could actually ride it.

Full Yoshi not sure of model, its the tri oval though
Roll design +2 long travel a-arms
Custom Axis long travel shocks
Kenda Klaws all the way around
HiPers all the way around
GYTR nerfs
Tag big bar clamp
Tag bars
PRM grab bar
Lonestar +4 axle
IMS front bumper
Denton Steering Stabilizer
probably some other odds and ends im forgetting or dont know about yet.

i cant remember his name, hes a parts manager at the chevy dealership up here in manhattan. i was told he just takes really good care of his stuff and really didnt ride this machine much. Ive been by dragoon a few times but never rode it. i ride local private stuff and will probably start showing up at jeeps a few times a month.

sounds good, looks good, what class are you thinking about racing. there is a race coming up at inman which is just 5 minutes from mcpherson and then the next one is jeeps.

ic. well its a fun series for sure. we could use all the racers we can get and would like to add another one for sure. the turn out is about 50 quads a race give or take 10 to 15 each race.

If it hasn't already, I would have the oil modification done or there's a good chance that down the road you will be saying goodbye to that motor.

But sweet YFZ, still one of my favorite 450's.

BTW, Nmotion does the modification for real cheap.
