So I have a set of ITP Holeshots from my 350x on my 400EX right now and really like them but am selling my 350x next week so I need some new rear tires. I ride mostly trails and MX so what tire do you guys recommend and what size? It needs to be good and tough for trails but still good for MX.
Thanks!

If you like the Holeshots, why not stick with them?

This might help you choose. For ITP, anyways.

I liked the Holeshot HD's but feel like the Quadcross XC might be better as it spreads across more different styles of riding and is still 6 ply. Thanks for that chart it really helps!

Here is a pic of a hole shot mxr6 with a big stick stuck right through the center.
I did that on a mx track so I don’t think they will hold up for trails.
I think hole shot makes one that’s a little tougher then the r6 so I’d look there.

I ordered the Holeshot SR's because they are 4 ply and lighter then the HD's and also are 20x10x9 and not a 20x11x9 like my HD's.

4plys might be to soft for trail riding, but good for mx. Guess you will see what happens.

I kinda want to just buy some new rims for the new tires and keep my stock tires on my stock rims....what's a good but relatively cheap rim? 8x9 is stock right?

I believe itp steels are only $19.99 each for a 9x9.

They are good because they are really, really strong and inexpensive.

Ive never bent a steel wheel.
