come someone show me a pic or explain how the front 'stays' hold on the front plastic? i know the 'stays' are bolted to the upper shock mounts and there is a little hole on each end, but what goes threw the hole and into the hole of the front plastic to hold it on? my 250r didnt even have the 'stays' bolted on so i need to order the parts from service honda, and i was just wondering. pictures would be great

If your talking about those wire things, there is a nut that holds them on to the top of the shock mounts. The other side of the "wire thing" has a rubber grommet and the fender just sits on top of it if I remember correctly. I cut my fenders and its been a while. Hope that helps.

they are good to use (no pics rt now)...the rubber cushoin is needed to keep then from from putting ahole in th plastic...
the cushions is installed at the other end from where they mounted to frame above shock mount area & goes under the plastic as a cushion against the plastic

Nothing goes through the grommet. 2-R's is right, they are just there to support your fenders and keep them from sagging. If you are running race cut plastic, I wouldn't think that you even need them.
