most fmx riders run two grips on the left side of the handlebars incase they grab back at the wrong spot, it gives them a bigger area to grab and a higher % rate of landing the trick.

well alright, lets not fight about deegan. you like him if you want but i wont stand behind anyone that $hits on his own fans, thinks he rules the world of fmx by himself, waits till the last minute to back out of winter X just to show off his bike and not let a fellow member ride in X because he doesnt like him, rides with the biggest bunch of wanna bee's, doesnt enter fmx events because theres too many "ramp kids" and not enough good riders because he knows he cant win anymore, puts hate stickers on his bike that are pointed towards people and laughs about it like a little girl, makes all his money on little kids that dig the metal mulisha.... i can go on and on but this guy isnt worth my time. sorry man but theres no way anyone can convince me that deegan is a good person and is a great rider. no more fighting k dude :devil like the old saying goes

well yeah, your right but i still think hes cool,i think he is good to his fans tho, i mean i saw him sign some fat gross girls head and take a pic with her and stuff ..well...hes still better to his fans than ricky carmicheal....as far as medals i think hes the only rider to have medaled in every x games and in every aspect, hes also won pro supercross race most of the other guys never got in the top 5 other than pastrana and mike jones ....if they make money doin what thier doin good for them....if u guys ever see that movie no respect pick it up, its pretty funny i paid 5 bucks for mine i thought it would be dumb but its funny as helll

my friend jarod bartock owns brian deegans bike... its his 2001 year bike i think... i've never seen it yet but someday i'll call him and ask him to go get pics... hes best friends with dan pastor so hes around deegan and them all the time... they even come to my town sometimes to ride with jarod at his freestyle track...


and yes deegan is a discrace... billy do u know y he don't race sx anymore... its bc they kicked him out for ghosting his bike off the finish line when he won a 125 race...

I have to agree with Wired on this one. Deegan gives a bad name to the sport. i still say Pastrana is better then all of them. Afterall how many freestyle comps. has he actually lost? Plus hes not a complete wannabe @$$ like deegan.

no hes not, he only got 1,000 fine for that and all of his fans sent him money to pay it , he raced for motoxxx the next year and broke his arm, this was right when the warpt tour began, skin and moto xxx sponsored him still, he was making money and it was more fun eventually it grew and grew. in arecent interview they asked him if hed ever go back and he said he misses the tracks and practice but hated the politics and he didnt make as good of money as he does now if he was banned he quit before he was banned in the first smf deegan and link came out with the metal mulisha linkogle was so bad they couldnt air most of it on tv, but they didnt do anything like thier buddy mike jones who beat up a naked bmxer...anyway they got so much attention from that they got thier name out there and now they make alot of money off it....it originally was militia but deegan said linkogle isnt up on spelling since he had quit school to race and spelled it mulisha and the name stuck, disgrace or not the biggest name in freestyle is the metal mulisha then hessian aggression


everyone knows travis pastrana won alot of those contests becuase everyone loves him

Pastrana won those contests because he brought new stuff to the table. Deegan didnt win cause he didnt extend his tricks as far.

you can also say its because Judges don't know what to judge buy and many probably havn't driven a motorcycle:eek: and then its [insert glow here=Travis][/glow]. AFter watch a bunch of my videos of runs in the x games and what not the judges never doc'ed him for points even though they would for other riders when Travis constantly pulls them and doesn't pull many bar tricks. I personally don't like deegan but he is a good rider. Also I think Travis is probably the best freestyler but I just get tired of biast judging.

Read the artical about Deegan and the Metal Mulisha in the latest issue of MXMachine Magizine. Once you have read that you will see that they are not really all that bad just missunderstood. and Pastrana is a FAG!:grr

ghosting it is when you nail the gas before a jump and slide off the back i think. the bike does the jump and you stand on top of the jump and watch it go. correct me if im wrong!

for one thing travis pastrana is not the best freestyler out there the only reason hes never lost a freestyle run is because he only enters a few a year the x and gravity qualifiers and since he is such a good role model the judges are much more biased toward him. in my opinion deegs is a funny talented rider,but nowhere near the best. i believe the best rider now in fmx is nate adams or Dayne Kinnaird

true true true, all true, deegan is not the best but hes consistent


i think dayne kinnaird is probaly the best rider, his combos are badder than a flip hes newest member of the mulisha too:devil
