450r woods rider

Looking to buy a used 450r, what needs to be done to make it more trail friendly, I would also like to race it in a couple harescrambles a year.

Skid plates, hand gaurds, killswitch, and some good tires are the very basics. Beyond that, some sort of suspension and a steering stabalizer. There is no end of stuff that can be done.
