I had this truck studded about 5,000 miles ago. The heads were pressure tested and shaved .007. I also had a new oil cooler installed, updated STC fitting for the HPOP, and updated turbo oil drain tube. All of the work was done by Crossville Ford in Crossville Tennessee. I have EVERY RECEIPT for the work done to this truck. The truck does have a salvaged title. If you would like an OASIS report from Ford I would be glad to provide the vin through PM. Oil has been changed regularly, I have only used Motocraft filters in the truck. It has 68,xxx miles on it. I drive it daily. I am asking $18,500 for it. I could take the wheels, tires and leveling kit off to knock off the price. Located in Livingston TN

thats what kills your value right there. with the salvage title even tho the truck looks good its going to be very hard getting 21k out of that truck.

it still cuts the resale value of that truck down to like 15k. and some banks wont give loans against a salvage title

Loan value is right at 21,000, with 30% down for a salvage title. I called a couple local banks to confirm this.

Salvage/rebuilt title will
knock off another 20-35% off book value too. Figure that into the price. Great looking truck but for 20k you can buy a 04up duramax that's clean title under 100k miles. Glws though!

That's what I said in the post above.

Find me a low mileage Duramax with the same mods, clear title for under 20k, Because that is what I am looking for.

thats what i been in the market for a duramax. ive never seen a vehicle hold its value as much as a duramax. ive looked at anything from 01 all the way up to 06 models and one of the 01's i looked at had almost 200k miles on it and he was asking 13,9 for it and im sure he got it because he told me he had alot of interested buyers. now i cant see spending 14 grand on something that has that many miles on it diesel or not. but i can find ford powerstrokes all day long hooked up with lower miles for about 15 grand. same thing with dodge cummins. i can find cummins all day long for 10k and thats built. idk why and its not because im chevrolet bias, but seems to me like a duramax has a higher resale value then any dodge or ford

I would trade for a 2000/2001 7.3. I'd like for it to have some mods, no more than 150,000 miles. Prefer a manual trans.

Where'd you get your smoked cab lights, tails, and mirrors done? I'm looking into doing that to my 08.

I done the tail lights and 3rd brake light myself. The mirror lights and cab lights are Recon lights, they came that way.

I figured they were recons. Did you night shade your tails and 3rd? I had mine tinted on my 07 f150 and they turned out pretty nice. Good looking truck btw.
