there aint to many 250x around

my 250x is a great little quad... took it out on the track yesterday and had some fun.. needs a new front sprocket tho... but that should be done before next weekend :)

250x are great quadds alot of people on here have them but some of them also have it as a back up bike like they have a 400 and a 250

Rikkens on Douglas wheels up front
SS brake lines
PEPS stabalizer
Renthal bars
Magura twist throttle
RPM axle
Douglas wheels with grooved turf tamers on back
Maiers race plastic
Ceet seat cover
Gradon Proline nerfs and bumpers
RTC clutch lever and perch
I did a down to the frame redo on the thing
All new seals and bearings and paint
bead blasted brake calipers
and all the other little goodies

And yes it will beat a 400EX with little mods
And yes I know I can't spell!! LOL

250xs are the predicessors to the 250r except in a 4 stroke model. I have some old brochures that have the 250x and r in the same brochure. 250x's are GREAT machines. Mines all beat up but mechaincly everything is prefect. It starts on the first kick everytime. There VERY light wieght. With there smallness there great for popping um up. I can lift my 250x in and out of my pick up by myself nor problems at all. I would like to see honda come out with a 250x again. Heres a pic of mine.........

also I had extra supports welded on the frame in about 6 spots.

I still broke the frame 1 time since............and a Laeger A-arm once.........and a Laeger ball joint once............and a stock front shock on that jump I'm jumping on the first pic I posted. That is why I desided to build the thing up right, but I still break stuff.

Where did you get those shocks at? they look to be triple rate if i am correct, i didnt think they made a triple rate shock for the honda 250x, unless you relocate your shock mount?

I have one!!! I really like the 250x better than the 300 cause you can find them cheaper, I also like the gray and red look better than red and black, plus the parts are easy to find since they still make the 300. Plus 250x just plain rock!!!:devil
