I started the bike, rode it out of the garage, up and down driveway(long drive,4th gear), each time I slowed down it died. Acted like it was cold, like without a choke on if it were carbed. I stopped it,m added fuel, thought it might be low....was not. I went to start it and it cranked once and now nothing works.

There is a fast ticking under the front plastic, you can hear solenoid under battery click when trying to start, but nothing happens. All fuses are good, just wondering if anyone knows what happened.

Also, anyone else check there oil, its low, adds oil. Then the next time you go to check it, it's overflowing . Both mine do this, not sure why.

maybe if you have over 40 hours its your top end or the crank.

this hapens on my yamaha too. you have to turn on the bike run it. turn it off wait 15 min and then check the oil. i could be wrong but thats how i do it. i had the same thing on my yfz.
but the easy to to do it is just to do the oil change and start from new.

I can not stand the oil thing. I figured it was from tipping the quad on the grab bar to wash it, making the oil all flow into the crank case.

Is your battery charging? Maybe your stator went, and the quad was running off the battery. Probably isn't it, but just a thought.

i was washed mine the other day and when i put the battery back in and tryed to start it i would hear a clicking in the front. so i tighten the bolts for the battery alittle and started right up. so maybe something with the battery.

That clicking noise up front under plastic is probably a relay, points not staying closed due to low battery voltage or a bad coil….You might take note if you hear the fuel pump working when you turn the key next time it won’t start it should pressurize the system to get ready for a start and you’ll hear it, if not more than likely the fuel pump relay left looking to rear I believe…..You can also swap the fan (right) for left see if it starts. If that’s not it take the plastic of and see what relay is clicking, the main center one would be the next most likely. You can buy upgraded relays at the auto-stores cheap like $10, these stock ones go out often.

Battery went bad, a new battery seems to have fixed all issues.
