racing new 450

so ive been riding my honda 426ex for a couple yrs and i decided i wanna getinto racing. so now i have a 06 yfz 450. my first raceis weds and i havent gotten a chance to ride the 450 yet. i know it puts out alot my power but at the same time its set up a lot better for mx. so the question is do u think i would be alright racing the 450 or should i race my 426 that i been on for a couple years.

I would definitly ride it first before going right to a race. It will make for a bad day figuring out a new bike during a race lol. I would race the ex until you have some practice time on the 450.

x2 A lot of bad things can come from just jumping right on the 450
