Well, ive been fixing up a '93 Dodge D350 4x2 here recently and its soon to be road-legal.

Only major drawback is the truck is 17 years old, but looks 37..

I cant drive it around looking like it does, it doesnt do it any justice, so ive decided im going to repaint it myself.

Ive already painted my '79 F100 satin black, and it came out pretty good in my opinion, so im gonna give this truck a try.. problem is I cant decide on a color.

I like BlaineKaiser450's white dodge, but im not sure if I want a white truck. If it helps any, the interior is all grey.

Lets hear your opinions.. only thing im not open to is any type of Candy or metal flake. I dont mind taping off and doing two-tone or just doing a solid color.

Here's the truck currently (only picture I have)

I think just a plain and simple gloss black would look good.... but I'm not one for crazy color combos. Gloss red would be pretty good too.

I would do it like this. The area that I circled in blue, do it metallic blue, and the areas that I circled black, do flat black. Then do the rest of the body either white or black. I think that would look sick

Get some brightside boat paint and thin it out with some mineral spirits and roll it ok :)

Not only does it actually self level (the paint), but its very easy to do and turns out very good. Plus the paints SUPER tough.

If you dont want to do that, I would paint it a deep blue. Perhaps subaru wrc blue?

all charcoal grey, with no badges or moldings, then sport mirrors on it. would look *****in with either chrome or black wheels.

Valspar tractor paint is amazing stuff. This guy did his whole car with it, mossey ferguson red, and it looks like it made an AWESOME budget paint job. I've been tossing that idea around myself.

They make that paint in gloss black, for only 30 something a gallon.

EDIT: forgot the link, I was tired.

First thing that popped into my head would be Dodge's Titanium Silver.... Its a Nice dark gray that would go great with your interior. I loved the color on my 03 Eclipse and my cousin liked the color so much he had is 69 Firebird done in the same color when he restored it. Here is a good link to a picture of my car...Well it was my car....

It would look good a charcoal gray with black rims and dark tint.

Well, after giving everyone's suggestions some thought, I think what im gonna do is..

Remove all the chrome items, and trim. Ditch the trim. Leave the mirrors, door handles, and bumpers chrome (gonna build a ranch hand style front anyways and PC it black) and leave the grille chrome.

Im also gonna do some custom work on the grille, and make my own little settup there with some expanded metal painted matte black.

Then im gonna paint the whole truck matte black, wheels matte black and pay someone some dead presidents to put the darkest tint I can find on it.

Somewhat murdered out look, but not completely.

And when its all said and done, its gonna have 2 6" matte black Cat stacks in the bed.

Im also considering lowering it.. not 100% sure my plan would work but with enough metal and time I can make it work, and still use the truck as a 1 ton truck.. not just a mall queen.

Not diggin that LOW.. lol.

If I do it, it'll be a static drop, probably equivalent to a 3-5.

Id like to just fill in the gap of the wheel wells, I dont care for laying frame.

Who know.. if I ever ran across a good deal on some 19.5 Alcoa's..

416exfreak, may I ask you a question, what do you do as a job? You seem to have the coolest, most bad *** toys! haha

Well anyways (an hour later) here is an idea I came up for your truck.. not the greatest but its the best I could do! haha
(Getting the rust out was a huge P.I.T.A!)
