racing?

do any of you know what the age limit is to race???? some people have told me u have to be 16? i think the should test you, maybe like run the track in a certain time or something, because im a very experienced rider, yet only 15, and want to race. just wanted to get some answers from you guys instead of driving allll the way out to the nearest track.

i'm 15 and I raced at a outlaw race most of the time and I did pretty good. Also for the ama races I just lied to the ama because we won't sue if anything happens. I know the dangers.

well i know in the nataitonal you have to be 16 to racing in the 250 classes under that age you have to race the 80's

AMA= 16 it stinks but thats the rule

AMA changed the rules and you only need to be 14 to race as long as you have a bend in your elbows when sitting normaly on your quad, and only in the sport class (blasters, warriors, 350ex's etc..)

I raced an mx race at our local track and it was ama when I was 15 only thing was my dad had to sign all the papers, man there was kids there like 12 running in the same class, I was like WTF these little kids are gunna get smashed!!
