Considering buying a new set handlebars for my 06 z400. Want something that sits lower than the stock bars. Any suggestions for a decent set but low cost. Would also like to stick with 7/8" bars if possible.

Pro Taper SE. Since you want lower bars get the ATV low or mid bend.

I am 5'9/5'10 on a good day. Even though I am a few inches shorter than 6' do you think the mids would be my best option?

Also how did you handle the relocation of the indicator lights/key?

I have a brand new set of PT SE bars if your interested, pm me...and you dont need to relocate the dash with these bars...tight fit but it still works....or you can go with a trail tech clamp that has a dash or relocate your lights and key to your bodywork....rox makes a cool dash plate also...

you can try re-routing your cable to see if that helps...

or you can cut your bars down a little

or you can buy a longer cable :)
