Well... thanks to all who helped on my fronts.. now i'm working on my rears... I have the stock rims... how wide can i go ona 8x8?? can I go 11 wide? or is that too far... if i can go 11 wide.... do you think that 22x11x8 are too much? should i do a sprocket swap as well??? i don't want to lose too much power... and i'm not worried bout top end.. .

Thanks to all who help...

the wider you go on the tire for the back rim, the more round the tire will be.

like if your using a 9x9 rim with 20x11x9 tires, the tire will be more squared, a 20x11x9 on a 9x8 rim, will be more round.

If I were you Id get a wider axel, the gforce axel is just as much as a decent pair of rim and tires, if you want wide tires, get the maxxis razr 20x11x9 with 9in rims, they are pretty wide, but the axel will make up for whatever rim and tire you choose.

Ooops.... guess I screwed up on my initial post... i have the stock rims.... and they are 9 inch rims... but i don't know how wide... but the reason i wanted to do the 22 inch tire was to gain a little extra clearance... it's not that i'm looking to widen my rear... but the 22 inch tires seem to come in wide... have not found a decent tread pattern that was a skinny tire...

22 is how tall the tire is, 11 is how wide the tire is and 9 is the rim size. So as long as there is a 9 at the end that is the size of rim the tire will fit. So, yep they will fit.
