Pretty common issue. They bend up very easy

how have you fixed this issue or have not had any luck.our builder has it now and said he can straighten it and gusset it to help this so if he said he can make it stronger i believe him.well end up testing that anyway.

We just trashed the ones we tore up but I know several folks who repaired theirs...it really comes down to the severaty of the bend and how well you can either do the work or have it done etc.

We watched one tap a tree in 1st gear and it was bent...he said screw it and put a LSR chassis on it.

they are great little quads but they missed the mark when they designed that chassis.

couldnt have said it better my self.

Once you get them gusseted they are pretty solid though.

I have 2 national caliber Raptor 250s for sale they both have gusseted frames, Rage motors, LSR a-arms....they are both very fast, and DO holeshot 450s.

You would literally be shocked at how fast that Rage motor is. I have seen his quad at the nationls this weekend and I talked to Dee at Rage and he told me about a few tricks (not all of them in that engine by any means) and that engine is sick. You have to consider that most 450s raced by adults are 125 lbs. or so heavier and the riders are also heavier so don't be too quick to discount the holeshotting 450s thing...

Im not joking. I holeshot mildly built 450s at local races all the time.

2 weeks ago, I dropped with the B-class and finished 3rd.

Here is a picture of me leading a 450r that was originally Harold Goodmans.

As you can see my bike is a lot cleaner than the 450r, the reason, I holeshoted everyone.
