Say a prayer please

For those that know Josh, and for those that dont, please say a prayer as GNCC XC2 racer Josh Kirkland was seriously injured today and is in surgery. From the info I have, he is at this time paralized and is being operated on for internal bleeding. I have no info beyond that and I pray that the bleeding is easily stopped and the paralasis is temporary. If anyone hears any updated info please post it......id like to keep tabs on his condition.

Josh is a super nice guy and a fierce competitor and right now needs all the support he can get.

I just got off of the phone with Larry & Josh is going to be out for a few days. Hopefully he will get off of the ventilator in a couple of weeks.

I spoke with Josh's sister last night & got some better news. The spinal cord isnt severed & right now he is able to move his arms. He is in & out but hopefully as the swelling goes down in spinal cord his condition should improve.

THAT IS GREAT NEWS! the same thing happened to my cousin in a car accident. the area around the spinal corn inflamed and pinched the cord. it caused below the waist paralysis for about a week. when the swelling came down she began to regain movement and feeling in her lower extremities.

if the spinal cord is not damaged he should have a very good recovery.
