I agree with that but also would think there would be Dads looking for info here too.

I guess I'm just a late bloomer.
There's a group of us that all have 250ex's and our ages range from 35-47. These things are a blast to ride.

I'm buying a 250ex today if all pans out. It'll be a beginner quad for my girlfriend to learn on, and also my test mule to do maintenance on myself. I'd rather screw something up and break it than my 700xx. :D

I raelly like Honda an all but have you looked at the 250 raptor? The raptor is more like a sport quad where the 250ex is like a farm quad with sport quad plastics.

Wheelman, the 250ex is a great beginner quad. I actually bought my wife a 07 250ex and bought myself a LTZ 400. After riding hers I bought another 07 for me. A buddy of mine has a Raptor 250. It is impressive and fast for a 250 but no reverse and no sport clutch, not really for a beginner.

after i got rid of my 250ex(i agree with dylan,im 5'6" 110Lbs and the250EX IS VERY VERY VERY UNDERPOWERED)Well then i got a 250 raptor-it jumps great!its a fast little thing, the raptor is more of a serious race quad for kids that are into racing-ment to compete with the 300ex and blaster when racing, and the goal was achieved there, its not ment for entry level riders, its ment for riders that are experienced and to young to race 450's basically(11-15)

what happend the the 300ex it really 282cc and it just a lil faster than the raptor... and i think it handles alot better and is better built....

btw ive beat a raptor 350with my recon but the kid on the raptor couldn't ride to save his life

All it takes is some effort in the right areas to make the 250 come alive.

Open up the exhaust, the airbox, re-jet, and port the head, and the EX will be a new bike....
