heavy clutch

the clutch is very heavy on my 300ex compared to the yamahas at the races, can make it lighter somehow?it causes me to get tired during a 6 lap race

Do u mean that the clutch lever is hard to pull. If that's the problem replace the clutch cable. Our's got very hard to pull and it was the clutch cable. I just changed it this week and it's VERY easy to pull and it was hard as heck before. It got to a point during a race that it was very hard and he just stoped using it,unless he really had to. Once he got it moving he just changed the gears without using the lever. It was only 13 bucks from our honda shop.

if im going to replace the cable then i would go for an aftermarket brand. but i dont think its the cable. i think its just a heavy clutch in general?
