400ex carb on a 350x

Definitly do it.I had one on my old 350x motor and it made a huge difference in the mid to upper end.I ran a stock pilot jet and a 145 main.it fits on the intake boot real good and the air box boot will go on with a little effort.I soaked the end of it in hot water and that helped it stretch on.My motor was mildly built 10.25 to 1 and a web cam in it,and had a good pipe on it.And i put the stock carb back on when i sold it and it felt like half throttle compared to the 400 ex carb.Just do it you'll like it.
