my 300ex is getting no spark

yeah i am having a problem with my 300ex, and for some reason i am getting no spark, and i have tried everything that i know if anyone has any help please let me know thanks for your hlep

..take the red rubber plug wire end off the plug wire...look where the plug goes in, and see if it's coroded. then look at where the wire goes in, take a screw driver and scrape around a little just to make sure. put it back together, and see what happens.

mine wouldn't crank, i did this and got it running. i'm going to buy a new plug for it.
