I recently purchased a UNI filter for a Honda TRX450R ('06+) for my FCI on my YFZ, my question is, that the backfire screen on the filter fits too easily inside the FCI tube and with a diecent amount of use, can possibly wear out my tube. Do you guys use the back fire screen with your 450R filters or just leave them off? I took it off and it doesn't colapse when I rev the quad. I currently have it on just to be safe, but I just thought I'd ask here first. Thanks.

I use the FCI and a No-Toil filter (450R) with no screen.

Does your's have anything to help prevent it from collapsing when you rev it? or is it fine? I reved mine with out it and it seemed fine, just thought I'd ask here first.

No I don't use anything with my FCI. Just the No-Toil filter. It won't collapse.
