So i just scored some 450 spindles off ebay and i'm trying to get the ball joints out of the 250 spindles. Any ideas on making it easier? I've got a pickle fork but its way too wide to get a good bite.

I already switched out my spindles. The idea from youtube is what i used....gotta be a man about it but it works! Only one busted knuckle! lol

Well that idea does work well. However if you had not kept forcing the tool and wacked it with a hammer with the tension on it. The tintinnic vibration would have broken it free and saved you a spindle. Just a tip out there so others don't force it and break more spindles

You have the wrong pickle fork. You are probably using the automobile "ball joint" one. You actually need the smaller one for automobile "Tie Rods".
