well it depends what u do if u ride track aluminum will be the way to go because they are lite wight even a little is bit important when racing

but if u love the mud and the hills the steel is better b/c they are stronger and will take the bumbs snd bangs with out dentting but ed ventually they all will bend

Yeah that sounds about right; the lighter the drive train is the more useable power you’ll get. Heavy wheels and tires are stronger but take more power to turn them, so pick your poison.http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/aktion/action-smiley-083.gif

The thicker aluminum wheels are okay, but if you just generally beat the quads steels are hard to beat as they wont bend to easy.

Heck I bent one of my stock front wheels by taking the quad out of the truck (just rolling it out and letting it land) and it landed funny cause i slipped. I can feel it when I ride ont he road, but offroad it doesnt seem to matter.

FYI, blue label .125, do not use these for mx or trail riding.

They are OK for that stuff but youll be bending alot of rims.

.125s are for dunning and drag racing.

My friend used 125s for a trail ride and bent them at the first stump he hit.

I use them for drag racing.

When I ordered new rears from magic racing awhile back they called to inform me they didnt carry the douglass wheel i wanted. Sold me on the alumalite wheel and its easily as thick as thier .190 and has a rolled lip and is stronger.

Sooner or later im upgraded the fronts too cause they are that good, so far after beating them relentlessly they dont have an issue.

I run the Douglas .190 aluminum wheels and have put them through crap in the trails and they are still holding up great.

Yeah .190s are just as strong as the stock alluminum, and I believe they are a lil lighter.
