yeah, I went off what was currently on their website, I'm not sure if I can update the poll to add the High Rev, can you just mark the PT section 3 times? ...once we get a manufacturer of pipe we can then see which of those pipes are more popular.

I was trying to help FW Carbon out since Jay said he'd make a guard for us, but wanted to know for which pipe. I want so see what the most common pipes are, and then go from there.

None of my pipes seem to be too common right now...

Sorry I forgot about Trinity. If more have Trinity I'll see if the mods can add it.

I have an ESR 9, a Curtis Sparks TT, and an FMF Rev, The Rev wasn't on the list but I added that one to the FMF section anyway.

I would but it only allows moderators to edit polls, not sure why.

Yea, I got one that is damn near the same thing. Arlan made me 2 rear sections for it, one for dirt riding and another shorter rear cone for ice riding. He says the ice pipe will hit hard. The TT pipe he made me hits hard now! Cant wait for ice!

was the dg extreme the pipe that looked factory and nickle plated? i had one of those and it sucked, never could seal and seemed to cork it up.

I may or may not be old enough but I just got thru reading an article in my 1982 Dirtwheels mags that test that very pipe along with many others. They claimed the KERKER pipe was the best, 2nd place went to the Bassani pipe... CRF was on the list as well, as well as many others... Only they called them expansion chambers, and the silencers for those were after thoughts.

Ever wonder what happened to those companies?

I'm surprised there are as many LRD pipes out there. Back in my Hay-Day circa mid-90's, the LRD pipe was the king ding-a-ling... alot of the pro's ran them. I never heard of ESR until about 5-6 yrs ago. In fact the advertisement for ESR were little 2x2 square in the back section of the mags. He's really made a name for himself lately... that's good news.

OK, there you are- another vote for the FMF Fatty! I've had mine now for 15 years (so is that a 1st or 2nd design?) and it works for how I ride.

When I bought my '86 it had a pipe on it that I was told was a Cobra. All I know is it ran like crap for trail riding! The FMF was recommended to me by a few people, so that's what I bought. I based my decision on this, for this was the first 2-stroke that I ever owned, previously I had nothing but 4-stroke ATC's. Best investment I ever made for an ATC was a DG RCM pipe for my 200X. Wow! did that pipe wake that machine up! Nice flame thrower too on 3rd gear down-shifts.

Sorry guys I should have put an other segment. Klemm pipes didn't even register in my brain when I put that poll together.

I guess the main purpose of the poll was to see what the most popular pipes are so that I could help Jay come up with a carbon fiber pipe guard that universally fits the majority of the pipe population.

My first race quad was a 91 quadracer and my dad sent the engine off to Klemm and when it came back it scared the **** out of me..thats when I made the switch to the 250R because the LT was just to much for me on a mx track.
