I was wondering if anyone tried moving up in tire size to increase ground clearance for trail riding and harescrambles? The stock rears are 19x10-9, I was thinking about the ITP Holeshot GNCC in 20x10-9. Would going up 1 inch make much difference in the quads gearing and would a front sprocket change counteract the size increase? Also what do you think about moving up on the front size from 20x7-10 to 21x7-10 Holeshot GNCCs? I know this would give an extra 1/2 inch of ground clearance. The rider is about 115lbs. We are working on moving up from racing mini-quads in harescrambles/GNCC and are new to the 250s. Any and all suggestions or coments are greatly appreciated.

I would do it just cause ground clearance is a big thing. Every little bit helps and if you did do the change and rode it with the bigger tires you could change the sprockets to your liking

I say do it and do some sprocket changing to make up for the bigger tires in the rear. Just don't get any big ol balloon tires. lol
