I got my 2 12" kicker cvr's (dvc 4ohm) with a dual 12" sealed box, problem is, the box is two separate chambers and I need to wire them in parallel for a 1 ohm load, can I do this outside the box or do I need to drill a hole between the 2 chambers so I can splice wires??

Run a wire from both positives of the sub, to it's terminal on the inside of the box. Do the same for the negative. This will result in a 2 ohm load at each terminal. Now run the wires from each terminal to the amp. You will have two wires on the positive of the amp, and two on the negative (resulting in a 1 ohm load).

I was gonna do this option 1, http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=42#results , my question is, do I drill a hole from chamber to chamber inside the box?

I’m almost positive it doesn’t mater if it’s at the back of the amp or inside the sub box as long as it’s wired in parallel it’s all the same. You can run a wire to each speaker if you want as long as it’s in parallel. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/aktion/action-smiley-057.gif

I did what scro said, I wired both positives to each positive terminal and same for negative then I'm going to put 2 wires to the amp on each the + and -

Ha ya, well on my amp. There is a remote wire and a power control wire. What is the power control wire for and where does it go?

If I remember right the control wire goes to the 12v auxiliary on the fuse box. I believe it keeps 12v to the unit when it’s turned off, for the clock and memory on the unit. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/aktion/action-smiley-083.gif

the power wire goes directly to the battery and the remote wire will come out of your aftermarket head unit . The remote will tell the amp to turn on when you turn on your key.

There is a power wire, ground wire and power control wire, is the power control wire the remote?

Probably. The remote wire terminal is between the power and ground terminals most of the time, and is usually smaller.
