depending on size and metal of the part, you can actually burn it off pretty quick

if its a nerf bar, strap a gas can to it and go trail riding for a weekend. Comes right off..

theres a cemical we use at work we refer to it as super stripper but i dont know the actual name... ****s pretty deadly. pretty much you take a paint brush and put it on and it comes right off.

if you get it on your hand it will burn your skin

Aircraft stripper does pretty much the same thing. It causes the powder to bubble up, and it will burn the hell out of your hand. It's in an aerosol can, and can be found at most automotive stores.

X's 2 great stuff. a bit costly at about 7.00 per can but well worth it.

Dustin what does this do to the finish of the aluminum? Could it be polished up to a shine again, or would it have to be PC'd again? I have some beadlock rings that I wanna take back to bare finish again.

the aircraft stripper does nothing to the aluminum at all. hince the term "aircraft" stripper. i use it all the time when stripping engine cases.

You can also get it in a gallon can that allows you to brush it on.

If you are looking to take the powder off rings, brush it on, clean it off, and polish it up a little.

Thanks. My father is an automotive painter, so I'm certain I can get ahold of the stuff in the can.

Haha I must have been the only one that picked up on that. Sucks, plug it up better next time or better yet don't carry your gas on a nerf bar!
