I traded my 450r for Dustin Drew's Laeger. Its all coming apart tomorrow. I'll be updating this thread with the entire build. I can't wait to tear into this project. I'm now all 2 stroke!!! I've been dreaming about a Laeger build since I was 12-13 yrs old. 20 yrs later...

I'll be keeping an eye out for a +4 Protrax front end, (going for MX/dune build with this bike) Its a narrow front Cr500 rear.

Here is a pic Dustin took, but it now sits in my garage:

That would be my dream quad as well...or maybe a complete Roll chasis. I thought your last build was pretty nice, but a complete Laeger - impressive.

What all came with that bike? You have an idea what setup you will run? motor, pipe, shocks, body? awesome platform to start with. Just what i want for my next mx build. narrow, cr500 link:)

Thanks! Yeah a full Roll bike (...i.e. DR&D for those history buffs...) would be right up there on the list too... :D

Its got a lot of good stuff, some of it I won't be needing and likewise save for future builds or just sell on here, its setup currently more for woods. Narrow front with Laeger +2 LT aarms... XC axle... I'm hoping to locate a +4 protrax setup (eventually)... I've got my Floats from my XC build I'll probably switch the PEP's with my Floats on my XC build, the PEP's were valved for XC and my weight anyway, the floats are really too long and valved for MX.

Motor, I'm not sure. This motor is a 310 and seems to have monstrous torque for a 250r and not PV'd... I was surprised. I didn't ride it much, I didn't want to tick off my neighbors, but I could tell a lot from the low end of the bike. It may stay or I may swap with my Curtis Sparks motor, which is a 280cc national type motor. ...or I may build an all new motor with my 3rd spare motor I have. Not sure really.

Pipe is LRD, I like the finish but I may go with a ESR centermount since this bike is primarily going to be used in the dunes and mx style riding. We'll see the pipe looks great, just needs to be cleaned up and there is a few scuffs I need to polish out but its like new.

I'm doing something all new with the body and graphics, been dreaming about this for awhile. Was going to do this scheme on my 450 but now its going to be applied to my 250r. Stay tuned.

Your 450 is getting ripped apart today also!
Getting turned into a woods bike...
