houser steering stem

can someone measure a stock 450r steering stem from where the stem sits on the frame, to where the clamps mount? and does anyone know if a 400ex stem will fit a 450r? jw cause i can get a good deal on a +1 houser stem. the 400ex +1 stem is 28in. so if it's longer than the stock 450r stem ill get it. thanks

There's more to a stem than just length. The flag will probably be different, so you probably should stick to a 450 stem.

i have a roll design stem on my 450r that came off my 400ex.

all you have to do this use the clamp from the 400ex. the clamp that holds the top of the stem into the frame.

i tried to get a 450r stem for my 400ex and it didnt work it went in fine its just the 450r stem is thicker so my bars wouldnt turn right
