Jet fat for break-in. I started with a 170 main (Dyno Jet), and ended up running a 165 after break-in was complete. Remember, fuel plays an important roll in keeping the piston cool, so being a little rich when things are still very tight is important. Also, take into account your other mods. I have a few additional things done that will require me to run richer than other bikes with just the 416 kit. Start fat and work your way down. Exhaust is the never-ending battle around here, so I'm going to leave that one alone, but I like my WB.

ct came in at 94 db on the z400 shoot out, the e series was 97, plus the db had better overall power, there about 3 or 4 diff complete pipe shoot outs in the mags. check em out.

what you will notice is the e-serries dies off in the top end, but in the shootout it is a s-bend and the ct is a PRO-MEG style. I am curious because the pro meg for the 400ex is almost exactly the same as the ct for the 400ex. i need to compare the two and see how they do.

Yes Start very rich then work your way down after break in is complete.

Just to be sure.
