Now my bikes pretty fast. I can get it airborn for a good 30 - 50 feet. Problem is it always seems to land on the ground sooner or later. Do I need a Jet ????

The pilot is just for take off. Since you are getting airborn just fine you need to up your main. Everyone knows that the bigger the jet the better. Throw a 295 in there and you'll be getting atleast 5 minutes of flight.

Also, have you cut the baffle out of your exhaust yet? It yeilds incredible performance gains! And I assume you already have one of those aftermarket cdi? Those give up to +40hp

Don't forget to completely remove your air box and cut all or your fenders off.

an adjustable powerband really helps it out too up top. that will help to maintain the lift you need.

heres what you need. :D

Oh i almost forgot, dont forget the o pipe you will need to help out with boost.

maybe even the boost bar would help out, I have never tried that to see how it is.

If you would change your gearing and install a flux capacitor then you can hit 88 mph and go into a time loop where you are in the air infinitely.

I don't know. I tried wiring up the flux capacitor and I kept fouling out my plug.

You need to check your grounds.

To the OP; one of those dynojet kits offers the most increases, now that I think of it... You just get the 'stage 3' kit, put the biggest main included in, then toss the remainder of the jets into the carb bowl.

I found a kit but they are sold out. I'm sure it would work for a quad as well.

I think that might be the biggest issue people are having with jetting. That last step is often forgotten.

I hope this doesn't leak onto the Polaris outlaw forum. My buddy hangs out there and if he finds out it will be bad.

I gotta ask a4. what does your exhaust look like. Fmf doesnt have a t4 so you have me wondering lol. Pc does, and they have caps to tune them differently. FMF has a few tunable ones with plates and such but it is a weird combo. steve

Hey Steve. Must have been a typo on my part. I have no idea why I put that.

Its a PC T4. Not really sure how its adjustable because there are no plates, but it sounds good with no spark arrester.

now i got it. only adjustable with a different cap. I have the same one with the old style cap on it. I love the exhaust! one of the best overall pipes around imo. your sig has been that way for a long time. it had me baffled but i figured it was a typo. steve

:D any other things we can do to get some lift? steve

Helium in your tires would work to get you off the ground a bit easier. Who needs to shave parts for weight reduction? Fill every cavity with helium and you will be all set.

Get some +6 wheel spacers for increased stability.

Get a 'chip' for the engine.

Grease your muffler bearings for increased flow. Also check blinder fluid levels.

Tried all sorts of muffler bearing grease. Best thing to use is Crisco. May smell like a french fry but it holds up the best as far as I'm concerned.
