hey guys just got my new 2009 ktm 525xc on monday , im still breaking her in , i have about 2 hours on her now but tonight around dusk after i was done putting her away i noticed the headers glowing cherry red after only about a 10 min ride and i had notice that it had been popping on decel every time i would let off the gass , i know its overheating but how ? why? its brand new !

You need to rejet. Put in a bigger pilot jet, that will help with the popping. It glows red because its too lean.

yeah i called the dealer today and they said they do come a little lean from the factory and living at sea level doesnt help either . as far as the cherry bomb red pipe he said since its a thin titanium it will do that even at idle so , im goin to finish breaking her in and then start lookin at jet kits

They come lean down low, and rich up top.

The main can come down from a 170 to like a 150-160 for max power.
