Here's some pics of the CR85 install I did on my sons Cobra ECX70.

Chassis with engine removed:

New engine mount I fabricated:

I had to grind the lip off the right side of the CR85's case (where the swing-arm bolt goes through) to make it fit between the Cobra's swing-arm:

The new motor mount or "cradle" bolted to the CR85 engine:

Powerplant mounted in chassis:

The stock Cobra pipe only required slight reworking to connect to the CR85's cylinder:

This project could not have gone any easier. In fact it's almost as if the Cobra chassis was made for this engine. The stock Cobra air filter fits better now than it did with the Cobra engine...LOL.

We ran one of these last year and it was fun. You will need to gusset the corners at the bottom of the frame. w also put posts between the shock towers to stop the flex.

We broke our frame every weekend until we put a good set of shocks and gusseted the frame and both of mine never broke at all in 2 yrs.

Good luck, it should fly.
