Looks good, I used to really like Audis/VWs but not that much anymore haha. Still nice car.... definitely would look better on some BBS wheels though.

Almost 162,000 miles, lotsa highway miles,a job in Austin when you live in San Antonio( or vise versa,I forget) will get you that lol.

I need to update my profile cause I no longer have a bike =/
I agree on the wheels,BUT no gotty any mula for that now,but these stockers will prolly get some paint on them soon, maybe black or a darker silver or somthing along thoes lines.

Thanks for all the compliments on it. Cant wait to straight pipe it,they sound MEAN straight piped!

Ehh, I'd be careful with it with that many miles on it. Major things start to go on those cars around 120k, I hope they've already replaced some things...

Yeah Im well aware of the problems they have, thanks for the heads up though. I did a good bit of research before buying the S4 and I saw many MANY HAPPY S4 owners with well over 200k on theyre cars even one with over 400K he claimed so Im not worried, just gota maintain it good and take care of it.My dad has already said how very picky I am about it lol.

Its had turbo's replaced at 90,000 miles
Timing belt, water pump, and belt tensioner replaced at 141,000
NGK Sparkplugs and new Coilpacks at 141,000
New brake pads and rotors @ 144,000
New valve cover gaskets and cam tensioner gaskets at 158,000
New Battery
All new vacuum lines and turbo/intercooling piping(the rubber parts)

Still stock clutch but was lady driven a bunch and it still feels good so thats good.Me and my 3 friends drove it today and I let em drive it and they LOVED it,all of them did, kept talking about all the power and stuff haha gotta love it! LOL went under the overpass once and came back under it again twice just for kicks, sounds sooooo good!!!!

Thanks and yup its a 89 foxbody roller.Hopefully I got it sold this Sunday!

watch how you drive it, ill bet very good money your gonna need another set of turbo's before 200k comes around. I dunno if you've researched that job but unless its warranted it'll prolly cost more than the car is worth and then some...otherwise nice car, enjoy it.

Yup they say it costs about $6k but idk if thts if an Audi stealership does that then cause if it is I can get it done by pros for much less anddd to go to stage 3 is only around 6-8k also specialy if you can get some used parts and when my turbo's start goin which they should for a longgg time I'll prolly go stage 3 and still have less than around 12k in it with everything!!!! Oh and then be able to smoke lambo's and other exotics all day long  Ive heard of more than one S4 goin over 150k on stock turbo's,one just recently with about 180k on stock turbo's!

Thanks for the compliment and trust me its being enjoyed :p

It'll definitely be very FAST if you decide to go stage 3. These cars are no joke. Very nice car, I like the style of it.

When it comes to cars I prefer paying the same for an awsome older car instead of a newer mediocre car for the same price. the drawback sometimes is maintenece but your driving something you really like.

Yeah I agree with you Witeh!!! Backwoodsracer I would totally recomend it,just make sure you do plenty of research on it if you havnt already! Audizine.com is a good place

LOL my favorite deal was when I snagged my corvette for $7500 or I could have bought stripped down econobox that was 2 years old for the same price. After one test drive it was an easy decision to go with the vette. I had it ten years and now Im in the same situation. Ive got my eye on an 2003 Avalanche. Man talk about a truck with all the goodies.

S.A.J
07-18-2010, 01:59 PM
What year was that corvette? Avalanche may be a cool truck from the inside but theyre are very very few I've ever seen that look good to me,specialy some of them just look like plasticy,oh and btw Im a BIG chevy fan! Thats just my opinion tho

The vette was a 1985 with 28,000 miles. I had it ten years and put another 75,000 miles on it. Lots of little things to upkeep on the c4's but turned a corner at any speed.

We just got a 2002 avalanche in for a shop truck . 160,000 miles and needed a water pump and u joints. Driving it it has all the goodies like heated ,leather ,memory seats. power sun roof, and of course the avalanche conversion thing to haul lots of stuff. What a genious invention. We use it all the time for hauling things. It gets nearly 20mpg and rides like a true luxury vehicle not some big sow of a truck.
Like most owners it seems the plastic cladding is the popular chioce for looks and dent resistance. For the mileage the truck has you would never believe it .it still runs, rides and looks like new inside and out.

I was a big chevy fan but have made the switch to pontiacs like gand prixs and a 2000 grand am for the wife. Pontiacs always had the coolest interiors and excellent instrument clusters.

By chevy I meant like gm products =). Sounds like a cool truck and I honestly never thought about the plastic as being helpful for dent resistance but I could totally see that helping...just wish it looked bit more appealing lol. Sounds like a cool truck!

Ive now had 2 poeple guess that I paid $20,000 for my Audi :)
