i am thinking about making a tv stand/ coffee table for my room, and am looking for ideas. i want to use something dealing with quads or cars. something like shocks, piston/rods, swingarm, a-arms, or something else.

any got suggestions, and anyone made something like this before? if so, post it up, i need ideas. thanks.

It had better be a junk block, cracked or something. I would be a crime to waste a good 454 for a decoration...

that is cool. i think some cool 400ex fronts that are stock would be cool all around with a glass top on it. steve

i have a few sets of 300ex shocks around that i could use. also got two 300ex swing arms that would be cool. i was thinking of using a-arms because i have so quite a few sets of 300ex a-arms. i would love to use piston/rod for legs, but dont have to many of those. im still deciding on what to make it out of.

What's your price range? People use a nice wheel and a piece of glass to make a simple, yet SUPER nice coffee table. You could use a lambo wheel like in the picture or you could probably buy other wide wheels somewhere else. Maybe a Viper wheel?

If you have a spare rear end you could have the tires on the ground and make the swingarm level some how then put glass for a shelf on top of the swingarm, and glass on top of the tires for the tv. this would only look good up again a wall if it would look good at all lol.you could even cut the bottom glass and have a rear shock mount up to the top glass.

i get what you're saying, and it sounds cool. i have enough spare parts to do that too. spare parts is no problem, at my house, we have enough spare 300ex parts to probably make two bikes.

well you still need to weld or bolt on a leg to hold up the front of the swingarm. If you have to you could bolt it to the wall lol.
If you have that many parts go ahead and put the subframe and rear platsics to raise the tv up a bit. Hell just build the whole quad and sit the tv on the seat haha.

Why don't you forget the table idea and build 2 300ex's then? lol:p
