125 lifan rev limiter?

I need a new rev limiter because this new lifan is cutting out when I open it up. its popping, can I do something with this or is there a replacement?

Could be a jetting issue. What carb you running and make sure it's jetted properly.

I believe it is the jetting. The main jet. I read alot of other people had this problem. Im gonna buy a new 22 mm carb. The one that came with the motor is junk, I can tell. I think i will try a mikuni

Please! Don't waste your money on a 22mm carb. Go ahead and get yourself a VM26 606 and be done with it. That carb will run the 125cc's perfect and if you upgrade to 150cc's will be good for that motor as well. You'd be suprised at how it wakes the motor up as well.

It was the Carb. Dont know what happend but its cleared out and running awesome. My daughter says the lifan 125 is way faster than the stock 90. When she hits the strait away on our practice track, she is def going faster.. alot faster Really impressed with this motor.
