ok so i have this kx100 its a 03, I just used this liquid gasket but i think that its causeing problems shifting, If i have the clutch cover off It shifts perfect, i put it on and the lever doesnt want to return up or down depending on the way i shift. # 92027 is what touches up on the clutch cover and im thinking that since im not using the paper gasket that thats what causing it not to shift right.

So would you agree with me on this or would it be something else?

heres a pic of the shift shaft end

and the 92027 touches up on the bottom right side of the clutch cover 14032A leader. its not there but its by that spot.

I would say that since the clutch cover might be slightly further away from the case because of the thickness of the seal that might be the issue.

Put the paper gasket on, its only a few bucks and if doesnt cure the issue then of course its gotta be something else.

I had the same problem with my kx250f, turned out to be a piece broke off the case that held the shift shaft in place.

what year was it? this one only is sticky when the cover is on though... I was thinkin i could take a little of the alum off the cover but then if it is just the gasket and i put one in later on that that would make a new problem....
