if you notice above the cable there is green showing from what i am sure is a gasket..what gasket i dont know...but it showing is that a problem since i think it might be leaking there very slightly when running but haven't confirmed it yet....

its not a problem that it is showing... if it is leaking.. yes thats a problem. need to confirm that it is leaking...

if it is leaking can i use like that engine stop leaking stuff...
best way to tell if its leaking...run it hard and check right? or will idle do?

NO! DO NOT USE THAT CRAP! If it leaks you need to replace the gasket.

idle, run it normally see if it leaks. The gasket is green b/c thats the color they come from the dealer.

It should not give you any serious trouble its below the piston so simply put its just a case leak even though its technicly the jug. Keep an eye on your oil level and youll be alright, but if you feel you should fix it it wont be cheap if your dealer fixes it.

Ya but if u know how to do it yourself it will take like 20$ and a couple hours to pull off the cylinder head cover, cam, cylinder head, then the cylinder then replace the gasket and put it all back together, its not really that big of a job just time consuming
But while u have it apart why not spend the extra money and replace all the gaskets so u dont run into trouble later if they start to leak

WOW !!!! where do you buy your gaskets from ,20 bucks is a steal for a base gasket,head gasket and valve cover gasket?

I didnt say it was 20$ for all the gaskets, but look on ebay u could get a full top end gasket kit for 25-30$

buy stock gaskets. most aftermarket are junk.

ive always used cometic and thats all ill ever use i just put the tusk one one there for some variety

Ive looked at the tusk they look like fiber not metal I could be mistaken I am die hard cometic theyve never given me trouble
