Anyone make a tool for this job so I don't have to split cases?? I tried a couple dentist type tools but with no luck, gonna try to find a ice pick to bend, maybe it's alittle more rigid....thanks

Drive a sheetrock screw into it and pry it out with a hammer or pliers.

I always use my pipe spring tool. Just pop it in there and pull it out. I always figured since your replacing the seals, doesnt matter if you mess the old ones up.

no brother you don't split the cases, this is only a 30 min job with cleanup.
like joe said make a small hole in the seal, put a screw in it and pull it out, the other seal will just about fall out when you get the retainer off it.
cut a piece of 3/4" pvc about 6" long and glue a coupler on one end of it, the small end is a driver for your small seal and the big seal is driven by the large coupler on the pvc.
the pcv will not cut your new seal, just tap on pvc with rubber / poly mallet.
